Governance

Every answer accountable to a name, a role, and a record.

Governance in Quaeris is not a layer added on top of the platform. It is enforced at every query, every access request, and every metric definition, so an enterprise can answer to a regulator with the same system it uses to answer its own questions.

Access control

Access in Quaeris is checked at the row, the column, and the field, on every single query, not once at login. A person with access to regional sales figures does not automatically gain access to the underlying customer records those figures are built from.

Personas define what a role can see down to individual dimension members, and the system logs a denial with the same care it logs an approval, so a security review does not depend on someone remembering to write the denial down.

Role-based access

Row, column, and field-level security enforced at every query by the platform itself.

Personas and scope

Functional access assigned per role, down to individual dimension members.

Deny logging

Every denied access attempt is recorded alongside every approval.

Trust and accuracy

A certified metric in Quaeris is versioned and locked to a single definition. Two people in two departments who ask the same question about revenue get the same answer, because both queries are enforced against the same certified logic rather than two different spreadsheets built by two different teams.

Because agents are restricted to certified definitions, they cannot improvise a calculation the way a general-purpose model might. Every result carries a citation back to the source table, the metric version, and the logic that produced it, so a reviewer can trace an answer in one click rather than reconstructing it from scratch.

Certified metrics

Versioned and enforced on every query, so the same question returns the same answer.

Zero hallucinations

Answers are drawn only from certified definitions. Agents cannot improvise a metric.

Source citations

Every result cites its source table, metric version, and logic, traceable in one click.

Audit and compliance

Every question asked of Quaeris is logged at the prompt level: who asked, what the system understood the question to be, what query ran, and what result came back. This is the record a compliance team needs to reconstruct, in an audit, exactly how a number reached the person who used it.

For enterprises where cloud egress is not an option, Quaeris can be deployed inside a customer's own infrastructure, so governed intelligence does not require data to leave the environment it was built to protect.

Prompt-level audit trail

Logs the question, the query, the user, and the result for frameworks like SOX, the EU AI Act, and PCAOB.

Regulatory ready

Built with NAIC, Solvency II, IFRS 17, SOX, HIPAA, and NERC CIP environments in mind.

On-premises available

Deployed inside a customer's own infrastructure where cloud egress is not permitted.

Built for the frameworks
that already govern your data

Quaeris's governance model is designed around the regulatory frameworks enterprise data teams already work within, rather than asking a compliance team to adapt their controls to a new system.
